Yummy things I've been cooking (that I can and cannot eat)

The only thing of significance I've been cooking that I cannot eat is sour-milk biscuits, inspired primarily from the milk that went bad on me.

Otherwise, this week I've used my crockpot and made lentil stew, chili and mashed potatoes. (I was indulgent and peeled the potatoes, since they weren't organic.)

Being busy with Girl Scout cookie sales had me planning ahead with the crock, so I've been coming home to a finished dinner. It has been nice.

Did you see this? He looks like he's ready for Kevin Costner to play him in the movie. (Though Costner probably doesn't have enough S.O.B. in him.) http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/03/02/pierzynski-issued-speeding-ticket-while-in-uniform//

Yes, that was big news in my house! A.J. used to be a decent-looking guy (never my standard for judging ballplayers, of course) until he went weird with bleached hair and strangely shaped facial hair. He's definitely more of a badass than Costner, though!
